In 1990, Jim Paek became the first Korean-born player to play in the National Hockey League. On May 25, 1991, Paek scored his first-ever NHL goal in Pittsburgh’s Stanley Cup-clinching victory of the Final, an 8-0 win over Minnesota in Game 6.
